子昂常画马,仲信却求羊。三百群辞富,一双性具良。
通灵无不妙,拔萃有谁方。跪乳畜中独,伊人寓意长。

余尝读杜工部《画马讚》云:「良工惆怅,落笔雄才」,未尝不歎世之画者难其人也。晋唐而下,姑未暇论,至如近代赵文敏公书画,俱造神妙。今观此图,后复题曰,「虽不能逼近古人,气韵有得」,非公夸言,真妙品也。好事者其慎保诸。吴龙门山樵良琦,寓玉峰远绿轩题,时为洪武十有七年秋七月十九日也。
