子昂常画马，仲信却求羊。三百群辞富，一双性具良。
通灵无不妙，拔萃有谁方。跪乳畜中独，伊人寓意长。
甲辰新正月，御题。

题跋：良琦
余尝读杜工部《画马讚》云：「良工惆怅，落笔雄才」，未尝不歎世之画者难其人也。晋唐而下，姑未暇论，至如近代赵文敏公书画，俱造神妙。今观此图，后复题曰，「虽不能逼近古人，气韵有得」，非公夸言，真妙品也。好事者其慎保诸。吴龙门山樵良琦，寓玉峰远绿轩题，时为洪武十有七年秋七月十九日也。
